Travel Day and Flight Information
INSTRUCTIONS FOR TRAVEL DAY
1. Check email throughout Spring Break in case of any updates (parents and students).
2. YOU MUST BRING YOUR PASSPORT FOR TRAVEL. (And visa or green card to re-enter the USA, if applicable).
Bring your physical copy of the COVID-19 vaccination with the appropriate doses.
3. Arrive at George Bush International Airport (IAH) no later than 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2023. Check for the correct terminal.
4. Bring one backpack with everything you need for travel (see list below) and your checked baggage (see list below).
5. We are flying EVA Airlines which allows checked luggage up to 50 pounds. Students will be responsible for overage costs.
Extra-large suitcases make movement through crowded airports difficult and space on our bus in Singapore is limited.
Suggested: 1 suitcase and 1 backpack. The sum of the three dimensions of each piece may not exceed 158 cm (62 in).
6. Submit all (prescribed and OTC) medications in their prescription containers by Wednesday, March 8, in a ziplock bag with a signed Medication Dispensing form. We carry all OTC medications from Magnus and a trip-specific list.
Please update your Magnus OTC list by March 6. If you have a controlled substance, submit your requirements at least 10 working days before the flight! You can check for requirements and submit your request HERE.
7. Be sure to have filled out the pre-entry SG Arrival card within 3 days before arrival, which can be found HERE. Expect an email reminder on March 17.
8. Eat dinner before arriving at the airport. Pack snacks should you need them during travel.
